BIT OF BACKGROUND..... M R Dayal & Sons was incorporated by Late Mr.M R Dayal in 1940s. His diversified business experience created lot of opportunities for many. Late Mr. M R Dayal (1921-1985) was one of the the forerunners in the mining business that dealt with manganese and gold together with his elder brother and mentor Mr. Haricharan Akhil, a renowned and highly skilled mining specialist. This was first ever mines owned by a local company on a large commercial scale. His contributions to community included the 2 water supply to nearly 1,000 households many of which are being used for free until today. Late Mr. Dayal had been a close associate of Late Ratu Sir Kamisese Mara, the Former of President of Fiji. The successors of the M R Dayal Group, Brij Dayal, Prakash Dayal and Saras Dayal actively promote business in Fiji and overseas and have been widely recognized community workers for the nation.
