Dayals receives the Prime Minister's Exporter of The Year - Forestry Commendation Award. The Award recognizes Dayals contribution not only to the Forestry sector but also to the community. The family assisted many displaced farmers with rehabilitation support and provided them with construction materials to build their new homes. This support towards the community forms the basis of Dayals achievements.

Dayals receives the Prime Minister's Exporter of The Year - Forestry Commendation Award 2007. This was the second time Dayals had entered since 2005 and won it twice. The company has been acknowledged to provide an exceptional level of services to the timber industry enhancing export growth and assisting other exporters by providing world class facility to process lumber for export according to importing countries requirements and standards.

Jay Dayal, Director of Dayals has been elected as the President of the Fiji Sawmillers Association after serving as the Secretary for 8 years. His term in office will be for 3 years and during his term he aspires to lead the industry into an advanced level of coordination with Government and foreign organizations.
